About The Artwork
My abstract paintings are a direct reflection of the neurotransmitter activity in my brain. I work spontaneously; I rarely plan out my work. Whatever my serotonin level is at that particular moment assists in directing my hand. When I’m feeling particularly spare in the emotion department, my work becomes minimalistic. I’m inspired by the abstract expressionists of 1950’s New York: Pollock, Kline, Krasner, Mitchell, etc
