original painting on paper This si pure painting, as I used to paint before to start producing with printmaking. I am getting back to this direction and I don't know shit about destination. The only sure thing I know is that this is me, the paint, the drawing, the colors: all this is just me, beyond appearance's addiction and mental masturbation (this intro is dirty stuff that I need to write here in order to fill space with something, besides being authentic or something....) MY ART "I 've always wanted to be a spectator someone silently present a ghost I absorb the reality the only way to fit in the space the only way of being spectator the witness of my feelings my visual world my state of mind same recipe is also my environment. I feel the walls and the roads and the windows like holes , all the cracks where to look through all the exits where to get through. Life is inside and outside the walls without shame without secrets or shadows, within variations of colors and perspectives I try to figure out the composition I try to sum it up to find the crack I break through"

Slogans and hashtags are reminding us what matters, what doesn’t, what should and what shouldn’t. The new fetish of “speaking out” or “being woke” is something to acquire and show, like a status symbol or a trophy. There is always something - useless - to tell. Artworks are the mirrors in which our political subconscious is projected. We are the contents of a rapidly changing society in which people are having hard time to establish democratic dialogues among diversity. Slogans and politics are questioning the present times. Artworks are statements, that are asking one simple question: how contemporary culture can still survive its own ridiculous failures. URBAN LANDSCAPES (psychographic) The urban landscape works represent a permanent visual research of space and interaction. These works - crossing places, cultures, languages, divergences, convergences - represent the refusal of a given photographic reality. I manipulate the image by visualizing landscapes above the appearance, the photographic reality within its material experience. The appearance is meant through Sartre’s existentialist philosophy: Appearance is Existence. The imagery of these works focus on the interacting space, uncovering what din’t “appear” at first sight I mold my own ideal habitat using my own visual experience. Fabio Coruzzi exhibited at galleries, museums and art fairs around the world. He is represented by American and European galleries
