About The Artwork
In this scene, we have stumbled upon a witch in the middle of a perverse ceremony, which was not meant for our eyes. He is ancient, withered and rotting. He has captured several hummingbirds sent by the Prophet to spread knowledge to man. The witch has stolen this knowledge and seeks to use that power for his own rotten gain. Inspired by the Skinwalker lore of the Navajo people, this character symbolizes mans worst instincts and impulses. “Bad Medicine” is the second work in The Small Hours series. Other works in the series include, "Messengers" and "Consultation at Black Rocks."
