About The Artwork
This is an original mixed-media artwork on paper. It does not come ready to hang. This piece was inspired by a lake near where I live. I like to go there at different times of the day and in the different seasons and see the changes in the colour of the water and reflections. I can sit for hours watching the clouds above and seeing animal or human faces appear in them as they pass by. I hope the viewer will feel as happy and calm as I do when I'm there!

Exhibiting extensively in Europe and the U.K, her work is also in private collections worldwide and is licensed for wall-art in the United States. Antoinette's paintings are considered 'naive' in style, drawing mostly on her imagination. Her work invites the viewer to enter into her sometimes surreal world of dreams and fantasy. Solitary figures, animals and long shadows are recurring themes where there is always a little light to be found in the dark.
