Hierosolyma est Perdita - "Jerusalem is lost!" This was the cry heard around Europe at the end of the second crusade when the city felt back on the hands of the Ayyubid dynasty founder Salah ad-Din (Saladin). In reality the city had been lost the moment crusaders spilled the blood of so many innocent Christians Jew, and Arab inhabitants in 1099 AD.

I was born in Managua, Nicaragua. I create visually intense art that always gravitates toward symbolism and deep meaning iconography. I have always been fascinated by iconoclastic imagery and the surreal. I describe my work as unapologetic, uncompromisingly visual assault yet an irreverent dash of humor and a pinch of sensuality may occur in the making of it. My recent works combine 3D rendered elements, photography and digital painting. During my formative years, I volunteered in projects by conceptual artist Jochen Gerz and Native American performance artist James Luna. Currently, I hold a professorship position at Tallahassee Community College in Tallahassee, Florida. I am an independent filmmaker who specializes in cinematography yet I also dealt into scriptwriting, and film sound re-recording arts. For many years held an apprenticeship and guidance under my friend and mentor Academy Award sound re-recording artist, Richard Portman.
