About The Artwork

Prints are available of the original charcoal drawing by David Zamudio,18"x 24",2003, I was supernaturally inspired to create this drawing. This is the first work of art where I actually saw several visions of this image from time to time over a period of a year or so. I was captivated as I received brief flashes of sections like the sword of fire, the cornerstone, the lion, scriptures, hebrew words, etc. Eventually I learned to record what I saw and to create all of these elements in one complete drawing. So the final work depicts our creator God, Jesus the Messiah, Lord of Lords and Kings of Kings as a great lion. All of creation centers on Him and the 'Lion of Judah' is just one of His many names. History records that Jesus was born into the royal lineage of King David. Adam, the first created man, severed the relationship with God when he disobeyed the Lord's command in garden of Eden. Jesus came to resurrect what man destroyed. He loved the world and since the sin of man severed the relationship with God- Jesus provided the sacrifice or payment to restore that divine relationship. He lived a sinless life and freely gave himself up as a ransom to fulfill the law and to offer eternal life to all who believe in Him. The Lion holds a sword of fire in his mouth, Sword of King Solomon with 12 diamonds, 3 golden rings, a star of David and the King's crown atop the pommel, Hebrew inscription reads: 'family', The Lion from the tribe of Judah of Israel is the Messiah, The King of Kings, The Lord Jesus the Christ.
