About The Artwork
The three-part installation image shows the portrait of one of us suffering from dementia mother. Associated with disease of the personality and loss of memory is illustrated by the application of drawing on thermal paper. The thermal paper causes a gradual fading and thus the resolution of the image in an indefinite duration. In the final resolution of the work she questions his own life, as well as both material and spiritual point of view. The triptych is so arranged that the three portraits are assembled from parts with different opacity, which should also represent the batches of character change in the person depicted.
