Dreamrider Drawing

Steampunk like series “Dreams and Visions” was inspired by vivid dreams and imagination, a cultivation of ideas that I have collected over the years and intertwined with artistry. “Dreamrider” is one of the first few artworks in the series created using mixed techniques. A symbiosis of a living creature with the mechanical of familiar early things. The conjugation of the natural and the artificial, intertwined with the real characters and fantastic mechanisms, but at the end it is all a dream, or is it? I planned to create a series of works that resemble steampunk for quite some time. There were always these bits and pieces floating in my head. For years I jotted down the ideas in my notepad along with sketches and drafts for possible future works. Sometimes these were complete drawings, other times just incomplete parts of something yet to be thought out. When I started on the mixed techniques series "Dreams and Visions" this was one of the first few artworks. All carried steampunk theme throughout, all deeply in touch with dreams and imagination. Artwork featured in a number of magazines and multiple articles.
