Along a quiet, sun-dappled country road, a heartwarming scene unfolds. A kind and sturdy grandfather, his silver hair gleaming in the gentle breeze, rides a vintage bicycle. His cherished grandson perches on the rear rack, his small hands firmly grasping his grandfather's back, a radiant smile illuminating his youthful face. The bicycle, a timeless relic of a bygone era, carries these two souls on a journey through the enchanting countryside. Its well-worn frame and leather saddle resonate with stories of yesteryears, creating an atmosphere of nostalgia and adventure. In the bicycle's rear trunk, are two freshly baked French rolls, their scent a tantalizing promise of a delightful picnic to come. The golden loaves, warm and inviting, symbolize the simple pleasures shared between generations: the joy of good company, the allure of an open road, and the delight of shared meals in nature's embrace. As the wheels spin and the road unfolds, the grandfather imparts wisdom to his wide-eyed grandson. Their conversation is a symphony of experience and curiosity, a bridge connecting past and future. The bond between them grows stronger with each passing pedal, as the lessons of life are handed down from one generation to the next. The journey continues, guided by the wisdom of the grandfather and the innocence of the grandson. With the scent of fresh French rolls in the air, they venture forth into the idyllic countryside, forging memories that will last a lifetime. This timeless scene embodies the beauty of intergenerational connections and the magic of shared moments along life's winding path. Based on the works of Elliott Erwitt

Valentyna Rybkina was born in 1977. After graduating from National University with a Master's in Politology and Sociology, she started to oil paint in 2013 as a self-taught artist influenced by great artists like Aivazovsky. She invites you to remember with her paintings the sunny and happy places you may have visited or plan to visit again, to see how beautiful nature is. She hopes you can look at the colors of her painting, enjoy them, relax, and forget about your problems. Life is good ;) She is especially interested in oil landscapes (ocean and seascape) and has always been passionate about flowers - these are the main thematic focus of all her works.
