About The Artwork
I was thinking of a new series of monochromatic pieces to do. I come from a long line of very strong women. I chose to use a crown and birds as a repeating presence in each piece. Different versions of women, but each have a similar characteristic. Each piece calming yet bold, beautiful and intriguing. I believe doing these as collage makes a bigger statement than painting directly on the canvas.
