About The Artwork
After an exhausting trial, Lindy Chamberlain is found guilty of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment with hard labour. Based loosely on Van Eykes’ Arnolfini Portrait, I felt the aloofness of Van Eyke’s characters paired perfectly with Lindy and Michael who were widely criticised for not grieving like most Australians would.
