About The Artwork
Anniversary flowers. I happened to look at them in the vase, just as light reflected off a neighboring window, and bounced off the ridges in the crystal. I grabbed a canvas and painted them quickly, recording the great, transfixing light; with only small amendments later to table, shadows etc.
