This painting was featured on AVANT_ARTE'S Instagram feed. It received over 150,000 views and many thousands of likes in a 24 hour period. A surreal, faceless portrait made using - Acrylic, permanent marker ink and correction fluid on white foam board. This is the fourth and final painting in my latest series 'Poolside'. I used David Hockney's iconic pool paintings as a starting point and source of inspiration for this series of faceless portraits. **Please Note** there is a small perforation in the foam board, on the left side of the blue strip in this painting. It is barely noticeable and was created during the scoring process. Please refer to the detail image for a closer look. Unframed. The foam board has bowed slightly under the weight of the acrylic. I personally like this aesthetic and feel it would hang well without a frame. I have affixed a hanging wire to accommodate this method. Alternatively the curve can be kept or eliminated during framing. Signed, titled, dated and stamped on the reverse.
