About The Artwork
This is a very colorful, yet serene, view of a beach at dawn. It was inspired by a view that I came across, while walking on a west coast beach. I wanted to capture the whole feeling of the breathtaking scenery, the light, the colors and emotion of the whole environment. I want the viewer to feel like they have been transported right onto the beach when they look at the painting. Oceanside is a contemporary artwork that straddles the line between realism and abstract. Layers of color create the shapes and texture of the landscape and combine to tell the whole story of this scene. This painting is created with artist quality acrylic on an exhibition grade birch panel. The whole painting is sealed with a UV protective varnish. It is wired and ready to hang or to be custom framed to suit your interior.
