Vibrant painted sketch of the New York City Marathon. The scene captures the colourful blur of the runners as they cross the long suspension bridge. This is the largest and most famous marathon in the world. The route is from Staten Island via the Verranzzano Bridge, and takes runners through Brooklyn, then up into Queens, before entering Manhattan.
