About The Artwork
I am inspired by the jungle paths and what I encounter there. La Selva is the jungle and men work and travel along paths in the jungle, often on a burro or a horse still. Silently through the jungle with the sounds of birds and leaves. Since I paint work I always wonder what it feels like to do this kind of work, to travel through the jungle on soft ground, allne except for the animal who carries you.
