Kaleidoscope Print

This original painting sold soon after I finished it. I used a meditative style to create this piece, where I turn off my brain and let my subconscious take over. The original work incorporated items like a tarot card, textured paper, spray paint, and enamel. The lines were hand painted using enamel...and the level of detail you can see took me quite some time. Because enamel is shiny, this piece was difficult to photograph due to flash, and so I decided to crop, rotate, and re-orientate the original to produce this compelling print. There is no orientation to my work. I flip the canvas throughout the entire creation process to ensure balance and so that new imagery appears depending on which way it is hung. What I like about this print is that each of the 4 quadrants are orientated a different way and thus simultaneously showcase the balance and unique imagery concealed within.
