About The Artwork
The original artwork depicted here is for sale and on view at Chauvet Arts in Nashville, Tn. My ink wash paintings are created with locally sourced waters in order to explore the impact of water quality on the water marks, the weather, the culture and the painting that results from these experiences. This piece was created on site using durable treeless paper and then stretched in my studio onto a 12 x 24 inch cradled panel. All works are glazed with an archival microcrystalline wax which creates a rich matt protective finish on the surface,
