VIEW IN MY ROOM
It 's the story of St. George and the Dragon, their fight, and is the story of the war, every battle: of one who wants at all costs to destroy something else and be unique without the opposite. But the opposite, the other, or holy dragon that is in is deleted when no longer exists but takes on a life in the one who defeated him, and is, the loser, the supreme victory. In the foreground, beyond every battle, won, lost, fought, beyond the focus of a city torn by night, beyond good and evil, surrounded by extreme loneliness, there is a dog in the middle of a road in the foreground. The little dog is my self-portrait. The work can be hung on both sides. There is a front and a back, a front and a back: life is like, visible from many parts and each part is a part of the work, or life. Thanks to Cosmè Tura.

Italy
I was born in the West, too early. What make beautiful and important this historical period that I ‘ve lived until this moment are three events:having studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome with Enzo Brunori, some moments of happiness and the tenderness of my lovely dog. My poetry is founded on the words of Aristotele: "The whole is greater than the sum of its parts." And it is totalitarian. I often you are what you do and you do what you are. I painted many cities and maps (the same city, Ferrara beautiful, timeless, metaphysical, silent, magical) and animals and landscapes. I explore the absence, loss, emptiness. I consider the single man without putting him on the scene. My themes are nature and culture. Art is my job. I owe a lot to William Shakespeare. I paint my work on both the front and the back. The back is to me as the intimate and everyday life, things that are not seen but they belong to the whole life. And it's like to have to deal with the invisible. So art is one with life, and life is one with the art.
