About The Artwork
When an artist works outside of their usual comfort zone, as is obvious I did if you look at the rest of my collection, there is usually a bit of frustration or struggle. That was not at all the case with this painting. This is one of two cubist / surrealist style paintings I did using a live model as subject, and both of theses paintings quickly painted themselves with the greatest of ease and joy. It was an exhilarating experience. Everyone says this painting looks like a Picasso, but there are actually both cubist and surrealism characteristics, as well as a touch of today's esthetics. I hope you enjoy it.
