Oil, pencil & acrylic gouache on linen. Bold expressive piece, a really important piece to myself personally as it has heralded a break from terrible creative block. The piece is layered up with thin veils of oil paint, pencil line-work and acrylic gouache. Underlying everything you see is a simple expression of joy at the natural elements, mainly the clouds and sky. The images here all show slight variations on the piece. Once it has been photographed by a professional photographer I will update the image (asap - Nov '15). The piece appears a little washed out here. The edges of the piece are painted black and the piece is strung with picture cord, ready to hang. It may also be hung from its stretcher frame if preferred.
