This painting was inspired by the feeling of the end of summer, the days are warm and long but you know it can't last forever. You just want to stop time and stay. The colours are strong and saturated, the light is warm and the shadows are long. This painting is painted in acrylic on wood panel with artist grade materials. It has been sealed on all sides with clear gesso and the front and sides have been sanded. The sides of the painting are exposed wood. The painting has been finished with a clear UV varnish. This painting could work well in many different styles of interiors.
