This painting is one of a number that I have recently made using Google maps and street images to capture places I have previously visited and have a memory of. The images also capture all sorts of road signs and extra arrows connected to the navigation properties of the software. Sometimes I include references to these. This is not the actual space, but a remembered and reconstructed space where I recall people and their stories. I have a strong sense of something happening here which I witnessed. I present it as an empty space where someone else may connect through experience of a similar place.
