About The Artwork
To ‘blossom’ conjures up all different impressions of nature’s earthly and cosmic wonders as well as the growth, openness and expression of the human spirit and abilities free of restrictions, or lack of accessibility. This painting tries to illustrate and capture that very act of energy coming to life, the moment of flowing, bursting out, moving out, and discovering new paths, new directions, new locations, new landscapes, and new places to either settle or discover. Here the colors are charged, meandering and streaming with opposite directions of personal choice, that are momentarily confined in the borders of the mat, but hopefully one sees them continuing in the privacy of one’s thoughts and fertile, rich imagination.
