8. March 2010 24.5 x 24.5 x 4 cm (9.65 x 9.65 x 1.57 in) Acrylic on canvas This is the first of rather small quadratic paintings of birch and other tree studies. This one is using black canvas. The acrylic paint is quite thick here, forming a relief like structure allowing also for a tactile experience. All four large sides (4 cm, 1.57 in) are painted in the same manner. This painting is sold.
