About The Artwork
I thoroughly enjoyed creating this work under the direction and guidance of Joyce Moon in an all-day workshop I attended. I was intrigued by the initial approach of the sketch with many different bi-secting lines. Using this approach, I felt unconstrained by 'staying in the lines' and worked easily with the watercolors. Adding various effects with salt, the picture takes on a dream like quality that is stitched together with various lines.
