About The Artwork

‘One Hour. Min Wage. 2010.’ is an effort to examine the illusion of money from a totally different perspective, laying bare one hour of 2010’s minimum wage for what it is. 580 pieces of bronze and copper plated steel lacking in intrinsic value. Yet for many young people in employment, this represents one single hour of working life. Exhibited in Tate Liverpool, New Perspectives, 2011.
