About The Artwork
This piece came together to create a piece of art that was fun and colorful. I had these 12 wood freeform organic shapes and I decided to experiment with fingernail polish (because the colors are so varied and bright) I then covered the shapes with clear resin to really make the colors pop! I then created a colorful geometric backdrop and layered the wood shapes on wood blocks to elevate them at different levels. I'm very happy with the end result, unfortunately the awesome dimensional aspect doesn't show in the photographs .A halogen spot light focused on this piece would be absolutely stunning!
