"Red Barn Happy Hour" is an original digital, manipulated photographic print on canvas of the historic sign for the Red Barn cocktail bar from 1970s Las Vegas. The bar is gone, and the sign is now in a museum. This image was taken outside Triple George Bar & Grill, before the iconic sign left the streets of downtown Vegas. The image of the neon sign, synonymous with Vegas nightlife was captured as I walked past, realizing the significance and the irresistible pull of a long-ago hot spot still beckoning in the 21st century. The appeal of the sign felt more enhanced, more closely aligned with where it was and why it was there, once the image was enhanced with watercolor and poster effects. The printed digital image is a 24-W x 36-L canvas wrapped on a sturdy, solid-wood frame of 1.5 inches thickness. Does not include hanging materials. All rights reserved.
