Born in the Midlands, Black Country, UK. Always loved to draw from an early age. Now a Somerset based artist / photographer with a great passion for layered works in graphite, charcoal, conte crayon & pencil on paper. Portraiture & figurative. Strong, powerful drawings. Love to work in darker tones for dramatic effect, graphite sticks, 2b, 8b & above. After years of working in therapy, I started to draw, create again. Fell in love once more, realising 'this time' my experience of life and emotion heightened my awareness of what I was trying to capture. Portraiture is my passion.
