About The Artwork
Daydream was created after me visiting the coast and watching the waves roll in...as I sat watching I felt myself drifting off and 'daydreaming'! I didn't think much of this until I was photographing my wings collection and as I looked through the lens at the wing of the Morpho butterfly, it took me back to that moment...I experimented with several ideas on the piece and eventually I created Daydream. It takes me back to the calmness of the sea and draws me towards a place of serenity.
