As I looked out onto the garden I saw one last rose fading in the flowerbed. Bringing it in I saw everything in the garden was full and sonorous, there was no emptiness. As the spaces were filled in wintery harmonious colours. The form and tones of the rose could be seen echoed in the trees, lawn and sky.
