The Xoloitzcuintle it´s a mexican hairless dog, In pre-Hispanic cultures it was a cult animal. Tradition says that one of these dogs guides the soul of the person who dies to the MIctlan (world of the dead). This work represents a female Xoloitzcuintle, dancing with bats, alluding to the relationship between the mystery of the night and the mysteries surrounding death.
