About The Artwork
My work seeks to balance elements of fine art and a gestural painterly style. The depiction of different trees and plants allows me to use brush strokes in varied and gestural manner. The lone figure at the centre of the scene lends the image a sense of scale and acts as a focal point to draw in the viewer, as well as giving the image a narrative. The piece is unframed but I will frame the painting in a simple, white wooden frame for free if requested.
