About The Artwork
A color study but really a playdate with paints. Dancing, music, color...all so similar in quality of emotive capacity and ability to create spontaneous joy. The lines became most like a waltz due to the composition of thirds. This painting was the beginning of a new burst of creative energy and, thus, the beginning of a new series in which I spent more time with primaries than I have to date. This palette aims to be bold in a way that is characterized by hopefulness. It follows after a personal tribulation that called for triumphant resolve. Here is the dancing triumph.
