This small but maximalist gouache painting features a beautiful black and white tuxedo cat, modeled after my darling Beatrice, sitting in a pink midcentury armchair in a rather dreamy high-ceilinged interior with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a view of an aspen grove in full glorious verdant leaf.
