I painted this tuba every day for 2 weeks in summer. This old tuba is such a wonderful huge dented trunked animal of unknowable colour. It really decides on its colour only in relation to what surrounds it... grey green or grey orange. You feel you are going out of your mind when you really look at this monstrous thing for so long.
