The word "transition" holds a myriad of meanings. It can refer to a simple underground crosswalk or the profound journey of an individual from one state to another. If the latter interpretation doesn't resonate with you, feel free to disregard it. Perhaps you find solace in observing the beautiful reflections on the tiled walls or the captivating puddles beneath your feet. These elements alone can offer a sense of fulfillment. As an artist, I perceive the light that echoes through the corridors of this scene, the light that witnesses speak of. It symbolizes the transition from our current reality to another realm, an ethereal state of being. Choosing honesty would have led me to depict a single figure at the end of the tunnel. However, my humanity compels me to convey a different narrative. Now, my priority is to share the right story rather than strict honesty. These two figures hold profound symbolism for me. They represent the hope that in our final moments, we won't be alone. That we'll have the unwavering support of those closest to us. It's almost like a modern-day fairy tale, weaving together the realms of today and tomorrow.
