About The Artwork

I listen to You Tube when painting. The algorithm took me to: Thus Spoke Zarathustra. Spoken Book. Listened as I painted. Hours and hours, again and again. Really clicked. Those who think they patronise eccentricity belie my depth. From: Friedrich Nietzsche. Thus spoke Zarathustra. Part 17. The way of the Creating One. "Injustice and filth cast they at the solitary one, but my brother if thou wouldst be a star...shine for them not the less on that account...thou goes the way of the creating one...I love him who seeks to create beyond himself, and thus succumbs". (Words that evoke my experience). Zarathustra speaks, dances, sings, and I suggest, plays. A great song. Venice. I have used pre-Raphaelite techniques. Except for left hand window. Which is a Turner. Which I have thrown in for good measure. Bonus. Nevertheless, it's a coherent whole. A lot of detailing work, with many glazed layers. Highest quality canvas and fine-art materials.

Lowborn, not a Virtue-Signaller, lacking Luxury Beliefs or their status, but neither an inverted snob, nor a snob. Definitely not intersected. Orphaned, outcast, male, straight, white, capitalist (a tiny fish in a very big pond), quite conservative in fiscal and social matters. In long term and friendly relationship. Prankster, yet pragmatic, singular, evolved, authentic, ironic, sardonic, sceptical. Comparatively deprived early life. Which has had permanent effect. Not least in being grateful, for what I've got. And for true opportunities both recognisable and takeable. These themes within some of these works. Never faked a sarcasm too. Personally loyal to those who have tried to, or have, helped. What else is a man of honour to do? Really enjoy painting, sometimes. In silence, without media lies etc., noticed sound of own breathing as I paint. Expressive, rather than regular! Still learning after all these years. Thank you for your interest.
