About The Artwork
This painting was inspired by the loss of my cat, Dot. We had a very special relationship and her passing sent me off the emotional deep end. I created eight paintings of her and I, to help with the grieving process. This is an accurate image of both her and myself. The scenario is imagined to represent my feelings. I want the viewer to identify with the sorrow, but also to appreciate and witness the love of a pet. Painted in acrylic with hanging hardware included.
