About The Artwork
Wild Garden is a series of paintings inspired by my own garden which I developed after moving, from the city where I grew up, to the country. After two seasons of mowing the lawn surrounding my home I decided that it was a total waste of time and energy. I planted a number of fruit trees, conifers, Maple trees and lots of shrubs and then let nature take its course. The resulting chaos of weeds, berries and wild flowers flourished along side the shrubs and trees I planted became the inspiration for my latest series of paintings.
