This painting represents the interior of one of the rooms of a friend's house where I am hosted every year for the holidays. For me this is a magical place full of suggestions in which I always find new ideas for my painting and my thoughts. For me it is a real place of retreat and rest. Sometimes we feel at home in places that don't belong to us or that we don't live in daily.

I was born in Palermo in 1988. In 2011 I graduated from the academy of fine arts in Florence, the city where I currently live and work. I am a full time painter and private art teacher. In recent years I have participated in various artistic projects, art residences and group exhibitions.
