The incredibly wild Scarlett O'Hara is one of the most complex characters in literature and movie history portrayed by Vivien Leigh in the timeless Gone with the wind. She glorifies and (at the same time) rejects the idea of the ‘Southern belle’. She’s vain, spoiled, manipulative, selfish and loves to be the center of attention – but she’s also very passionate, determined, intelligent and goes to great lengths to take care of her family. Pro at flirting and displays excellent business sense which ends up becoming very useful to her. Not even Rhett Butler could make up his mind whether he loves or hate Scarlett.
