SPACE KOONANA Painting

Space Koonana oil on canvas 100x100x4cm 2022 Each "Koonana" is truly unique. Original text from my Instagram (@CarrazedoArt) post: SPACE KOONANA! Finally a new Koonana has arrived! Very happy to officially present the new #Koonana , this time with a theme that I really like: space. Painted with metallic silver paint, this is the most complex Koonana I've ever made and with many details that took quite a while to complete. Its “infinite” edges, countless stars and even comets make a whole universe of possibilities open before our eyes. The spots were replaced by the Sun, Earth, Moon and Mars. I thought about the location of each one: 1) The Sun represents an invaluable source of energy that pairs well with rocket boosters on takeoff. 2) Earth, our planet, is at the bottom, symbolizing where we are now, the base of everything, our #homeplanet . 3) Moon, Earth's only natural satellite and also the only place where we can get our feet off the Earth. Koonana's tail was shaped similarly to an Apollo rocket. 4) Mars, located at the top intersecting with Koonana's head, so as to show where we are aiming for an upcoming space quest. I am very happy with the result of this work, which I took the courage to do after “Space Loki”. From this one I'm making some smaller space bananas to celebrate! Eric
