To me, painting is foremost a language, one that communicates on a profound level akin to dreams or deep meditations. Like these experiences, paintings possess a complex nature that can be both confounding and enlightening. They may present themselves as enigmatic puzzles, challenging us to decipher their meaning, or as clear and lucid as day, delivering an unmistakable message. The meaning is often found in between the lines, reminiscent to an oracle. What you usually take away from engaging with art is a bodily or mental taste, flavor or frequency, that echoes through ones being. As I understand every human being as equal and at the same time absolutely unique I am fascinated how art resonates different in each one of us. One cannot help but marvel at the kaleidoscope of responses elicited by art. It is this phenomenon that continues to intrigue and inspire, as we witness the profound impact of art upon the human psyche. I know that art can change the state of ones mood, the way one thinks, or even the way ones life unfolds, because I have experienced it myself. From stirring emotions to challenging preconceptions, art has the remarkable ability to challenge and shape our perceptions and provoke introspection. We are still waiting for the science to tell us what is going on, until then and after then we keep on listening to music, dance to drums, watch films in cinema, or memes on our phones and look at paintings and let the works of art do their magic on us.
