Furthermore, my inner inspiration for this emotional work: “Always in early autumn, constantly reminded of you. I sit here and write you a letter, just like I always do when the first cold rain drifts across the country and the evenings get longer. There is lightness in life and also the bittersweet heaviness of the first rainy days. I know and you know too. Where have you been, as the years passed by me? One last time, meet me on the banks of the Hudson. Where it all began, where it all ended, facing the water on starry nights. Where are you? Even if I forgot the sound of your voice and all the names that you gave me, even if we live in different worlds and under different skies now, even if we are separated by oceans and continents. I will wait for you on the banks of the Hudson, like I do every year in autumn. Sometimes, only sometimes all those pictures from the past feel like a single wistful moment, so far away, so close. But while I remember all the nights and days, you save your tears for another life. We were never the same, never even similar. As you said, moon and sun will never find each other. Your world is no longer mine. And when I have finished writing the letter, when all is said, when every word has found its place and fits into this deceptive puzzle of memories and melancholy, then I go to the banks of the Hudson, to the place you know, and tear up the sheet. One more time, again and again. I prefer a hanging distance each of 20 cm / 7,87 inches between the 3 single paintings. Complete dimensions of this artwork, including the hanging space between the single paintings: 400 (w) x 150 (h) x 2 cm / 157,5 (w) x 59,1 (h) x 0,78 inches. I use exclusively oil and acrylic paints, canvas and wooden frames in a professional museum quality. The three paintings bear my signature on the front and they are signed, entitled and dated on the backside. Deliberately the sides are no part of the paintings and show the white and pure canvas with a few splashes of paint to emphasize the intuitiveness and spontaneity of the painting process.The paintings are unframed and ready to hang (on the backside: high-quality iron plates with metal inserts and nylon rope for gallery use), and they don't need a frame or any additional surface treatment. Every painting needs a single hanging (no backside connections between the paintings). The triptych will be safely shipped in one custom wooden crate and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and a cover letter.
