That energy cannot be created, only converted from one form into another, which can be observed from the simple consumption of food to the process of heating a home. This belief also has spiritual implications for the energy of a person’s life-force, their essence, and this painting is an exploration of that internal, personal energy. Many believe that when a person’s life ends, their energy is dispersed into the atmosphere to help create something new, and with that, they become eternal.
