About The Artwork
A couple of months before Covid struck I took a trip to Norway. I took a train from Oslo to Bergen. It was late fall and the train ride was through spectacular scenery. I took as many photos as possible from the train. Norway is beautiful but It was not until I was on a ferry in a fjord that I felt truly overwhelmed but the landscape. It probably isn't possible to capture the immensity, depth and majesty of a Norwegian fjord and the mountains that surround them, but the Norway series of painting is my attempt to capture something of the beauty I saw on that trip.
