About The Artwork
After an afternoon of looking at the changing colors of the leaves up near the Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado, I was inspired to create this original oil painting of Mt Meeker. It comes in at 13,916 feet elevation and is the second tallest peak in Rocky Mountain National Park after Long's Peak which is 14,259. The light was perfect for an early fall afternoon.
