About The Artwork
Molten is a 40cm x 30cm abstract painting using acrylic paints and spray paint over a surface with cracking paste, pumice paste and gels on canvas. Samuel has been drawn to reflective elements in his artwork and wanted to create a painting with this effect using a minimal colour palette. He used black, white and gold to create this opulent composition which is full of texture and beauty. Molten is fixed within a black stained oak frame measuring 43.5cm x 33.5cm x 3.5cm. Molten is signed on the back by Samuel.
